In my practice I am interested in the way my clients wish to live.
Minimalist large oil painting of the Australian Desert

Horizon

From an overland journey through some of the vast desert country of South and Western Australia, along the remote and isolated Anne Beadel and Connie Sue Tracks, this body of works emerged. Exhibited as a very successful solo show, these raw and sparse landscape paintings with their big skies and sense of distance spoke to people, even if they had never visited country like this. A timeless, transportive sense - open with possibility in their vastness - seemed to stir something in their viewers. For me, painting in places like this is a privilege and joy. And I am keen to bring the meditative feeling generated in these places, back to the city for others to experience on their walls.
